What do you do when you don’t have time?

Today i am feeling incredibly stressed.
I am not sure really why, i just feel like i am so pressed for time…

I really don’t have time to be writing this post, i don’t have time to finish off the piles of dishes that are still in the kitchen, i don’t have time to hang out the washing rather than put it in the dryer, nor do i have the time today to vacuum the floor.

I did have time to get the kids off to school, but i don’t have time to finish off this client’s work i have been sitting on for a the past few weeks, nor the illustration that i have been working on the past few days.
Do I have time to make a coffee? Probably cause that will delay the time that I actually have to do something else. I don’t have time to check my facebook page, but i still do because that also delays my time before i have to decide what else to do and feels like i have someone to talk to.

I have time to make a list of all the things i need to do today and this week but i don’t have time to do too many off them cause i just don’t feel motivated enough today just want to curl up and go to sleep. Its a funny world i live in, today i made the time to give my boys an extra big cuddle before sending them off to kindy, but i still feel like time is slipping away cause i don’t have the time to sit and play with them or take them to the park….  instead i have spent the day worrying about all the things i have to do to help them grow into big people one day and be honest and caring.

Confused ? Yeah me to ..i dont have time to be confused…. best go make a coffee.

Belinda! You don’t have time to read this comment either. :D Actually, the cuddle is always high on my priority list, at least it is now that I have one who rolls his eyes when I ask for a cuddle…parks will always be there, great big cuddles no.

I am trying to break the FB and email habits myself…it really doesn’t need checking every second…so yes, I’m off to paint!

Oh Belinda! Your children won’t remember the dirty dishes or the dusty floor but they will remember the cuddles and park outings. And that you have a passion for making art. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed. Relax with your coffee. Breathe. :-)
