 It’s rare that you see these like this and thought how great they would be to paint – I think I might be a bit strange to be inspired by fruit and vegetables…

Not at all strange to be inspired by vegetables, I found a red onion last week as well and finished painting it over the weekend. Then it got cooked up in a beautiful vegetable lasange and it tasted as good and it looked. Beautiful painting, I enjoy your blog. Cheers from NZ, Melissa
Very rich deep colours and I love the glow.
I did some similar tomatoes in oil pastels once and I know a painter who loves to paint veggies!
