“Artwork created with coloured pencils takes patience and love. It takes 20+ layers of pencil over each area of the artwork to get the rich painterly effect and detail for each completed piece. It takes a long time especially for large pieces which is why alot of coloured pencil artworks are not overly large in dimensions and why they are usually at a higher price point that other pieces of artwork at the same size, it takes lots and lots of time.”
