Biggest Morning Tea 2010 – Yummm CAKE!

Monday, June 7th, 2010

Last Friday – on a very very wet and rainy day I held a Biggest Morning Tea in support of the cancer council and also to celebrate my new business direction for creative hardt.

We raised over $43.90
on the day which is not bad for a small group -
By raising $20- you can help train a volunteer to provide one on one support
for those diagnosed, so I am so happy we were able to do our small bit for this valuable cause.

Well done everyone, Sorry i totally forgot to get a “teapot” photo.

I hope to do it again bigger and better next year! Thankyou again to all who came along and braved the rain! :)

A New logo for me… i think

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

One of the draw backs of being a designer is that your constantly on the improve,  “unsatisfied” with what you have or “revisiting” for want of a better word.

I  suppose it’s a good thing in one way, i mean many people would love to design at the drop of a hat… but it means that its very difficult to find a “solution” that you can enjoy and that sticks for a while.

I haven’t been happy with my logo for a while, during my struggle of trying to discover where i need to go art, business and illustration wise…i have tried multiple times to come up with something with no great end result on either the logo or on my direction.

I still feel like i have much more defining to do, but the reality of the situation is i have to move forward and go with something or i will be stuck in this nothing-limbo forever. So with that in mind after many different versions i think i may have found a new logo! Or a version of my logo….yes i am going for the heart.. kinda tacky my name being lindhardt, but i figured why not utlilise the fact that this might be an easy way for people to remember me by :) Why must i make it harder than it already is… ?

There are quite few other things going on as to why i have selected what i have, why i chose these colours, why i choose a squiggle, why do i really need a logo in the first place, (many artists i see just have type) particuarlly gallery type artists…. I will leave all that analogy  for some other lonely rainy afternoon. but for now, here is a logo that i think i like for myself…

Until tomorrow comes, and i decide that i want to “REVISIT” and design myself another one. :)

A new website and blog

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

Well here we are my first post for this blog. Why change you ask ?
That is a long story and i promise i will post more about my research as to why i moved to wordpress from blogger and all the trials and tribulations that have come with it.

For the moment all i need to say as i begin to swim out of the sea of code and graphics that I have been in, in the last week or more, is that i am here. I still have bugs to iron out. Some bits and pieces aren’t working but for the few of you that may come across this until its sorted Welcome.

Any feedback you have is appreciated.
