xmasphoto
Yep you know its coming, is slowly creeping up everywhere you look, a little flash of red here, some decorations there, it wont be long before it will be knocking at your door.

If your like me you like to be organized for Christmas and end of year promotions early, I unfortunately am not so organized this year but i have seen there are lots of deals at the moment from printing/photo places to get your photos printed on canvas or cheap prints or photo gifts.  I love this idea for family members, its a time saving activity as well means that you can get a few gifts at once and its personal. Grandparents love it!

For businesses, now is the time to start getting special Christmas cards printed, or maybe you want to give out a nice promotional product to a client to say thank you for their support over the year, perhaps with a nice artwork on it that can be enjoyed year round (i kinda know this artist! that might have some available!)

Whatever your requirement you will need a great photo / illustration to print. Some of your photos might not quite have that WOW factor that makes for that great gift or card. That’s where i am thinking i can help out.

If you would like YOUR photos edited, maybe merging two photos together, making it black and white, cropping out certain unwanted bits, making your photos, colours/  pop for that perfect gift, or look professional enough to represent your business, I can edit them for you !
These don’t have to be for Christmas they can be for invitations to events, parties, prints cost 15c these days make cheap party invitations OR Christmas cards!

I have a special deal on my photo editing services until 15th November 2009,

Make YOUR CHRISTMAS PHOTOS POP Promotion – For $15- inc gst

1. Your send me your photo in high resolution /  print quality, along with special instructions for any text you would like included, colours, bits you want edited out. If you have a particular request you must let me know at the beginning.

2. I will send you back a low resolution version of your super new fantastic photo, with the changes as requested. Depending on what it is your require, I will send you a  few versions to choose from.

3. Let me know which one you like, then finalize your payment of $15- inc gst

4.Upon receipt of payment,  I will send you your newly spruced up HIGH RESOLUTION version of your photo for you to then send off and get printed with your own printer or photo lab.
As a BONUS i will also send you a revised low resolution, “web” version that you can send via email, and if you would like any other sizes ie. for avatars etc i can send you one of those as well! (Just tell me what you need and what size!)

Sound good? As i mentioned above, I am only offering this service / price until 15th November 2009.
Turnaround time on the photos will be 2 working days. To get started before the Christmas rush send an email to belinda.l@steelkey.com.au with your photo or send me an email should you have any questions.

Here are a few of my personal collection I have done over the years.

Ofcourse if you want something a bit more specialized with Christmas illustrations, perhaps your logo with a christmas theme and with a bit more flair I can do that also, just send me an email as to what you have in mind!

Please note: Your final size of your print in not determined by me the quality and size will be determined by the quality and size of the original photo you send.

I will hold no responsibility of copyright, it is assumed that copyright permission has been obtained for any photos you send through.

If you wish for a photo montage, ie. blending multiple photos together this could be an additional cost depending on the quantity of photos, and the layout of the photos as to whether this “works”. I will discuss this with you when you send me your photos for review.

Absolutely Flat out

Thursday, June 11th, 2009

Apologies for the lack of posts of late…

I have just been completely flat out with everything, I had my youngest in the hospital last week with a temperature that wasn’t going down for 4 days which turned out to be tonsillitis, i have been sick for what seemed to be an eternity, plus I have had the usual work, cleaning, kids, and client meetings  etc so its been exhausting.

It seems i have also been in web development mode, (funny for a designer who has decided i am not going to “do” websites anymore). i have been designing, updating and planning websites left right and center, it seems never ending but at least i am getting some  tasks done which is great.

Part of this, you will be happy to know is that my blog is now fixed (thanks my fabulous hosts DotInfo).  So now my pages should work a bit better and people should be able to comment on my posts!

So post away, don’t be shy now !! I won’t hold you back.
If you have any problems i really would appreciate an email to let me know that would help me out alot. belinda.lindhardt@gmail.com

I have still been attending my life sketch group on Fridays, i really look forward to it and its becoming easier  and easier each week, my sketches are improving. I know my eyes and brain are working better as a result, and it’s nice to give myself that one thing out the whole week that i do just for me.

Next week will also be a busy week for me,I will attending the Business Mums Conference for the second time.
Last year was so inspirational and fantastic it really really helped me on my journey in both my business and art and my personal life.
Here is a post i wrote on my blog after attending last year: http://belindalindhardt.blogspot.com/2008/07/business-mums-network-conference-change.html

I am really looking forward to the change of  scenery and being able to catch up with some faces from last year. I know i will be exhausting though, last year my brain went completely numb by the end of the 2 days. Still i can’t wait. It will be nice not to have to worry about anyone else but myself for a few days.

As for my artwork, i have a itch to do a painting that i know i need to scratch, i have lots of coloured pencil things going on at the moment with the preparations beginning for the workshop i am doing in october and my artwork sitting here on my desk calling me to get to it. Busy busy busy. Must get to it.
