Still going with this one I originally wanted to do like a painted frame around it, but not sure i can pull it off. Hmmmm

“Takes Courage” -  Contemplation Series Work in Progress – Oils on Canvas

Finally got to work a little bit more on this one, this week I have been busy with organising the details for my coloured pencil workshop in January as well as a christmas concerts etc with the kids.

So this one is starting to take form similar to what i had in mind.. waiting for the paint to dry again now hehehe

Contemplation Series Work in Progress – Oils on Canvas

My contemplation series seems to be a popular one and here is the  start of the next one in the series which has been on my easel for a little bit.

As all of my paintings I have gone through a process of struggling with the vision I have in my head and the one that is coming out on canvas…

Last night I watched a series on Monet one of my favourite artists and it inspired me to keep going.  Now my issue is waiting for the paint to dry!!!

And yes i am purposely leaving the sky like that . for some reason i like it hehehe

I was urged today to start another one, not sure what its turning into as yet and sorry the colours just arent that great in this photo. Despite myself i do like doing these sort of paintings means i am moving forward discovering something new even if i learn “not to do THAT” again Trying to remain positive atm.
