So, was in my artshop on the weekend, using up a voucher (decided to buy some really thick 600gsm archers watercolour paper and give that try), as i was standing readythere to go out i saw these new art pens by Copic.

Yes yes i hear you say there are a few various pens out there and yes i am a sucker for them. The shop assistant started talking about them how she had bought them for her son an architect and he loved them. So i had another closer look thinking *i really shouldnt be looking at new pens i have some at home*, these they were $12.95 ! I thought wow, that’s expensive, then it dawned on me  here is the reason why THE ARE REFILLABLE!!!!
They have separate ink and nib cartridges (the inks were about $3.50 each) at that price it works out much cheaper than the other pens then you have to buy a whole new pen.

Added to that, one of these pens had a .03 nib (i havent been able to find one that small before)  and brush nib for working with larger bits of ink (shown in the pic) . The pens also come in all the usual ranges of .05, .5 etc. I was so excited to try these out and they are fantastic. (i ended up putting a few other things back in the artshop so i could buy 2
They are also waterproof, copic marker proof, archival with pigment ink So these are my new favourite thing
